World Vasectomy Day on the 18th was a resounding success in raising awareness on the role males can play in family planning. On World Vasectomy day, more than 160 doctors in 25 countries performed over 1000 free vasectomies – including 15 volunteers who had a vasectomy in front of a live audience at the Royal Institution Australia, performed by the amazing Dr Doug Stein.

Eye opening video – “Last Hours” and the future of climate change

“Last Hours” is the first in a series of short films that explore the danger of climate change and potential solutions to avert a disaster. The video describes a  climate scenario where drastic climate change is triggered by massive releases of frozen methane.

The video links this back to previous mass extinctions caused by issues of global warming, such as the Permian mass extinction which wiped out 95% of all life on earth.
